Volunteers can help assist inspect, restock, and prepare STEM classroom kits — ensuring each one is complete, clean, and ready for use. This is a vital behind-the-scenes role that keeps our educational materials in top shape. Kit work can be completed in the office, or you can take materials to complete in the comfort of your home and then bring them back once they’re ready. No specific background is required for this opportunity.

Curious about exploring what it might be like to become a SciSci Educator someday? This is the perfect place to start. Volunteers can assist our Scientist Educators delivering engaging, hands-on STEM lessons to students in classrooms and other learning spaces (e.g., vacation camps, or community events).

To volunteer in this capacity, we ask that you minimally hold or are working on a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, have STEM industry experience, or have elementary/middle school classroom teaching experience. A background check is required, since this role involves direct interaction with students. If you’re interested, please send us your resume.

If you’re interested in a group volunteer event, we have opportunities for that, too. Gather your team for a good cause—to build STEM lesson individual kits for elementary and middle school children! SciSci will bring all of the materials needed to facilitate the kit-build event at a location of your choosing. Please note that there is a fee for these events.
