During School programs

Science from Scientists (SciSci) engages every student in the classroom through hands-on, minds-on STEM experiences delivered during the school day.  

What makes our programming unique is that we send two real scientists into each classroom to lead materials-intensive, standards-aligned lessons and sense-making activities. 

Students gain access to role model scientists and engineers, and deepen their conceptual understanding, critical thinking, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.

ISMB (In-School Module-Based) program

Our In-School Module-Based (ISMB) STEM Enrichment Program sends two real scientists into classrooms every other week, during school hours so that all students in a grade gain access to exciting hands-on, minds-on lessons that challenge students to think critically and spark greater curiosity and teamwork to solve problems.  

ISMB has shown measurable impact, from raising standardized test scores to improving students’ attitudes towards future careers in STEM.

One-day programs

STEM Discovery Days

Find out if SciSci is a good fit for your school! Our STEM Discovery Days program is an opportunity for schools to try SciSci for a single day. Two SciSci Scientist Educators lead students through dynamic hands-on STEM lessons to ignite curiosity, build conceptual understanding, and develop STEM skills. We bring all of the supplies for students so that classroom teachers can observe their students engage with science and engineering experiences in a whole new way.

Full curriculum

Grade 2 full curriculum

SciSci offers the only fully supported Grade 2 science curriculum where classroom teachers receive ready-to-teach lesson kits, plus a SciSci Scientist Educator comes to the classroom to lead one out of every four hands-on, minds-on science lessons.  Classroom teachers love that there’s no inventory, minimal prep time, and dynamic in-classroom support from real scientists and engineers.
