Corporate and foundation donor opportunities

Science from Scientists (SciSci) relies on generous support from individuals, foundations, corporate businesses, and special partnerships to teach and inspire the next generation to identify and solve real-world problems by improving STEM literacy.

There are many ways to actively participate in making a difference in the lives of our youth and our country, through employee engagements or through capacity building opportunities.

Team-building employee engagement

Kit building event

Gather your team for a good cause! Join us in building STEM lesson kits for local elementary and middle school students. You'll be helping Science from Scientists create hands-on lessons that inspire young minds ages 7-14. All materials are provided, and we'll start with a presentation and lesson demo to make the experience even more impactful.

STEM experience for STEM Fairs and tabling events

Custom demo-in-a-box solution

Science from Scientists (SciSci) will work with your team to design a unique and memorable interactive STEM experience to engage youth and their families at community events. The demo system will be designed so that the materials created can be duplicated and used for various different tabling events, trade shows, corporate events, or wherever a demonstration could serve an impact.

Capacity building opportunities

Sponsor SciSci’s grade 2 curriculum

Science from Scientists is embarking on a new frontier: The expansion into Grade 2 with a full-year science curriculum for teachers. SciSci ISMB programming is currently only offered to grades 3–8. Because there is little STEM programming available for grades K-2, schools have requested this SciSci service for years.

SciSci is seeking sponsors to help cover curriculum development costs as we prepare to extend our STEM programming to a new age range AND create extended lesson activities for classroom teachers to facilitate in their classrooms. Sponsorship will help cover the development of curriculum units.

Invest in SciSci’s Accessible Curriculum

Science from Scientists is committed to increasing the engagement, skill
development, learning, and STEM identity formation for all of the students we serve. To achieve this, we recognize the need to build our capacity to serve the growing number of multilingual students in our partner school classrooms. Thus, we are embarking on an ongoing effort to support our Scientist Educator team in implementing effective research-based instructional practices. We are seeking sponsors to fund these important initiatives.

5 lesson level-up
Updates to FIVE SciSci ISMB STEM lessons to better accommodate multilingual learners. Efforts include modifying lesson materials (e.g., student and teacher worksheets, lesson plans, slide decks) to reflect research-based instructional practices. Impact: 12,500 students annually.
SciSci Educator level-up
SciSci Educator investments impact our classrooms and our communities. This sponsorship helps our team implement the identified practices and revised lesson materials. Impact: 24,000 youth annually.

Thank you to our supporters

Our work in schools and communities would not be possible without the generous support from individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
