Virtual and hybrid student programming is available for:
Our Distance STEM programs include:

Lessons range from 40–60 minutes to best fit your class schedule.
Real STEM role models
Our educators have degrees in STEM and/or STEM industry experience and will teach the lessons via Zoom or your preferred video conferencing platform.
Standards-aligned
We have over 50 lessons tied to state standards, Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs), and Crosscutting Concepts (CCCs).
Virtual learning options:
SciSci has two virtual model offerings, to meet students where they are at.
Virtual learning for individual students:
- Great for online-only schools.
- Individual students log into a virtual learning session. STEM lesson kits are sent to the school in advance to distribute to distance students.
- A SciSci Scientist Educator joins your school’s meeting link to teach the lesson to the students.
- Students keep their lesson kits and are encouraged to continue using materials to experiment after class is over.
Virtual learning in the classroom:
- Great for schools and classrooms outside of SciSci’s in-person service area.
- SciSci STEM lesson kits are sent to the school for in-classroom use. Kits are individually packed and ready to distribute to all students in the classroom.
- A Scientist Educator joins your school’s meeting link to project into the classroom using classroom AV equipment or individual student tablets/devices.
- Teachers keep materials or send them home with students to continue using outside the classroom.
